Direct
Marketing
I’ve
been reading a lot about direct marketing lately. With
the trouble email marketing has been facing, the limitations
the Do-Not-Call Registry has placed, and rising costs in
advertising, direct mail seems to be a viable alternative
for many small businesses. If you have given up on direct
marketing lately, or have never considered putting direct
marketing into your strategic plans, maybe now is the time
to begin investigating the advantages of using direct marketing.
Various
sources indicate that direct marketing is actually down.
Which means your target audience is probably receiving
less advertisements in the mail than every before. And
with the frustrations of spam and phone ads, people are
actually spending more time looking through their mail.
Take advantage of this now, and begin a direct mail marketing
campaign directed towards a large population in your area.
Consider
mailing postcards – they get the best response rate because
they are easy to read. Also, consider changing the appearance
of your postcard into a shape. The US Post Office now lets
you send any shape postcard, with certain dimensions. This
is a wonderful opportunity for you, because shapes can
actually increase your turnover rate drastically. Check
